This soundscape is a collection of sounds gathered around the area of Zwarte Water in Utrecht. It’s a very lively place bustling with all kinds of sounds from people, birds and bugs, but also the wind, the river and so on. I wanted to go into all the layers of this community, so I recorded the sounds of the sky, the streets, the people, the animals, the water the plants and the bugs to go in-depth. This soundscape was also part of an exhibition about Zwarte Water.
