In a fast-paced world with less space for dialogue, Maaike Kalkhoven creates moments where people can pause, hold space for each other, listen, and learn. She does this through art and co-creation.

This video Maaike Kalkhoven’s work and process is visualized in an abstract way. It highlights the essential role of human connection and care — without them, no work can be created; but when people reach out to one another, something beautiful emerges. The combination of visuals, music, and message emphasizes the importance of seeking connection with others.

My role in this project included co-developing the concept, conducting research, producing the video, and performing as the person in the suit.
