I love experimenting with different materials, mediums and styles. They don’t always get a project name of their own, but they deserve some recognition! Here’s a collection of some experiments that I like.
16 mm looper
I did a really fun seminar called Retro Media Mashup, where analogue techniques were the main focus. I decided to make a 16mm looper to loop an animation the whole group made on transparent 16mm film so it could run smoothly. I made it almost completely out of scratch. There’s some 3D printed elements in there, wood, screws, a thrown away BBQ tongs that were recycled into pieces of the looper and some other found or gifted pieces.
